Marco Rubio tricked the Tea Party into thinking he was part of the clan

Uncle Luke, the man whose booty-shaking madness once made the U.S. Supreme Court stand up for free speech, gets as nasty as he wants to be for Miami New Times. This week, Luke reassesses Sen. Marco Rubio's Tea Party credentials.

I need to thank Marco Rubio. He really stuck it to the Tea Party. He played those fools into voting for him. He had been keeping up appearances until early May, when he was a guest on NBC's Meet the Press, voicing support for Rep. Paul Ryan's plan to slash $500 million from Medicare.

Rubio told host David Gregory: "I will support any plan that saves Medicare, doesn't impact seniors, and doesn't hurt economic growth. The Ryan plan does that."

But entering his sixth month on Capitol Hill, the West Miami Cuban-American has begun to distance himself from the folks who want to "take back America." Some hard-core Tea Partiers are thinking about revoking Rubio's membership in the clan. His campaign rhetoric promised a tough stance on immigration, but now he's waffling. They are not happy.

Despite claiming he will vote against the Dream Act, which would create a path to citizenship for some children of illegal immigrants, he hasn't pushed for other radical immigration reforms proposed by the Tea Party, whose members are starting to take notice. Sarasota Tea Party activist George Fuller recently told the Miami Herald: "He wants to have it both ways. We're zeroing in on him like a laser."

I think it's hilarious that Rubio used the Tea Party to get elected when he knew damn well he couldn't mess with immigration law. They'll run his ass out of Miami. He made those Tea Party people feel like he was down with them, but he was really a wolf in sheep's clothing. After they made him the first Cuban to get a white robe and hood, Rubio is turning his back on the Aryan nation.

The Tea Party's number one priority is kicking all the people who are not a perfect shade of white out of the country. That is what Rubio signed up for. Now he's flip-flopping, which makes me wonder:

Is it voter fraud when you trick people into believing you are a member of their party to win their votes?

Then it must be voter fraud for a politician to make promises he never meant to keep. Closing Gitmo, ending the bogus wars that this country is involved in, ending unemployment with all those shovel ready jobs, stimulus and TARP bills, Sending more troops to protect our southern borders.Wow! did the voters get tricked on those. The tea party is now being "tricked" again. Instead of staying focused on smaller govt, cutting spending (TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY) and PROTECTING our country's borders,, they are being mis-directed by their opponents. those wolves in sheep's clothing are nothing less than liars, saying anything to get their vote and get elected to the Washington gravy train.

One can't give Marcito all the credit. The TeaBaggers weren't "blindfolded"; instead, perhaps they saw only Latin voting bloc. They saw it work with Allen West, so adding Rubio to the tokens they could point to when the accusation of racism was mentioned probably seemed a good idea. But just as the Koch brothers and their fellow robber barons duped the sheeple into thinking they were part of a grass-roots movement to take the country back from the ... well, from the illegal immigrants or the black president, never sure which one they considered more culpable, but no matter, by gosh the demands were made and the country would be "taken back." Never ones to be accused of being the brightest bulbs in the chandelier, they apparently failed to notice that Rubio was Cuban-American and might, just might, have a personal agenda for more reasonable immigration reform. Not surprising since while they were busy misspelling their protest signs and defiantly repeating their new buzz words, the major TeaBagger party managers were flying around to different events in a private jet, usingPR consultant. They may wake up tomorrow and be shocked to learn that the only thing "taken" was their dignity. By the time they deign to demand their dignity back, they will be the ones escorted by armed police officers from some obscure political event.

American grass-roots organizations are trying to "take back" this country from those in charge who are circumventing the Constitution, destroying our military, spending the treasury into bankruptcy, and bent on destroying the middle class with their plans for the re-distribution of wealth. The AMERICAN CITIZENS want to "take back" the country from the Marxist-Leninst followers of Saul Alinsky that are currently in the Congress. Unfortunately, some of us get snookered by sweet-talking pols (think Bill Clinton, BHO). By the way, I $upported Allen West after listening to him speak in person several times and on You Tube. By gosh, the content of his character had more to do with getting him elected, never thought of him as a token....Mis-spelled protest signs?? (What an elitist gotcha!) Some folks can't afford to have SEIU professionally print signs for them. They're plain old AMERICANS. I'll end with thIs thought for you to mull over; DRUNKEN SAILORS HAVE THE SENSE TO STOP DRINKING WHEN THEY RUN OUT OF MONEY. also Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Uncle Luke, I hope Robaina paid you well for your troubles.

I am less concerned with Marco Rubio tricking tea party voters, and more concerned with you tricking us by selling out. You traded your endorsement for crooked Robaina in exchange for his agreement to hire your sleazy friend Pierre Rutledge. I watched your videotaped confession on YouTube. Shame!
