Foodies & Beer Lovers Rejoice: Estrella Damm Presents Chef’s Choice!

This October, Chef’s Choice returns to Miami! Foodies and beer lovers alike will enjoy 31 days of chef-crafted dishes paired with Estrella Damm beer. Every year, Miami’s finest chefs create prix fixe menus inspired by the beloved Mediterranean lager. These menus are designed for delicious flavor pairings around the lager and two key ingredients, which rotate from year to year. For 2019, chefs created versions of their favorite dishes using eggplant and/or short rib.

Estrella Damm: The Culinary World’s Chosen Beer

Estrella Damm has been brewed in Barcelona, Spain since 1876 using time-tested techniques and recipes handed down over more than a century ago. First crafted by brewers August Kuentzmann Damm and Melanie Damm, it’s a well-respected beer and the oldest in all of Spain. Estrella Damm is specifically made to be enjoyed in warm climates, making it an ideal brew for our subtropical corner of the world.

Over the years, Estrella Damm has built a reputation as an impeccably-brewed beer, earning significant attention from the culinary world. It’s risen to the top as one of the favorite beers of chefs around the world, including Michelin-star chefs Joan Roca and Ferran Adrià. Estrella Damm’s culinary reputation and its exquisite flavor will undoubtedly draw gourmands from across the state.

A Can’t-Miss Culinary Event for Foodies and Beer Enthusiasts Alike

During the month of October, beer aficionados will meet fine-dining foodies for Chef’s Choice 2019. Thirty-five restaurants and their head chefs will take part in the culinary celebration. Each restaurant will feature a unique menu inspired by the flavor and legacy of Estrella Damm beer. No two menus are alike, showcasing the incredible versatility and creativity of the best chefs in Miami.

For 2019, the menus are designed around two ingredients: eggplant and short rib. Each prix fixe menu includes two courses (one appetizer and one entrée) paired with one Estrella Damm beer.
