Zika Scare Empties Wynwood

The typically packed streets of Wynwood were eerily quiet for a Friday night, thanks in part to the Zika scare. Fears of the virus kept both tourists and locals away from the area. A handful of local artists and vendors clung to their street corners trying to sell artwork and food, but the sidewalks were deserted for a Friday night, save for a few local bars that could still draw a crowd.
