Hundreds of protesters marched for the release of Miami Seaquarium's Lolita the killer whale for the 2017 Miracle March for Lolita on Saturday, April 1. The orca has been performing at the facility for over 40 years, and is kept in the smallest aquarium required in North America. Various speakers rallied the crowd, including Tim Canova, David Chocarro, and Carrie LeBlanc. The protest kicked off at Virginia Key Beach Park and culminated with chants in front of the Seaquarium.
