"Welcome! To the 2017 Gables Chili Fest in Coral Gables, FL. Join us as we offer the best Chili & Music in town with that southern feel.
We are shutting down Catalonia avenue (between Salcedo and Ponce) with countless variety of food options; from the hottest Food Trucks in town, to the sizzling Chili's from our own community! But it doesn't end there, we have a full bar in the middle of the street to complete the festival vibes and the most exciting live music performances including Grammy-nominated Afro-Cuban Funk band PALO! performing at 5pm.
It’s not a chili fest without this real southern experience. Enjoy the fun, thrilling, yet safe attraction which will bring out your inner cowboy. Now, it's not a Veteran's charity without a fitness challenge. Think you have what it takes to pass the U.S. Marines pull-up challenge? Come neck to neck against aspiring, current and former military members in this friendly competition. We can't forget about the kids, so we have also included a safe and enjoyable kids zone to complete the fun circle for the entire family!"
