Burger Beast tipped us off that Tania Ramirez of Food Truck U.S.A. is raffling off a food truck. It is used, but the kitchen will be a brand new state-of-the-art affair. Ramirez will even customize the truck's interior to meet the winner's specifications. (Two frying stations? Extra grill space? Larger fridge?)
The truck will come custom-wrapped with the new owner's artwork and will be ready to roll. According to Ramirez, the approximate value is $120,000.
Ramirez is selling 100 chances for the truck at $1,000 each. So far, she's sold about 15 entries since she announced the contest yesterday. The raffle is open to anyone within the U.S. and ends when the 100th ticket is sold. If you win the truck outside of South Florida, however, you have to get it to your destination on your own.
