Will Pitbull Show Up at the New Miami Subs Grill Grand Opening in Miami Springs?

The new Miami Subs Grill is celebrating the grand opening of the Miami Springs location, which also marks the first time in over 18 years that a Miami Subs has opened in... Miami!

Though the location has been "soft opened" for about a month, this official celebration marks the completion of the exterior.

The restaurant, located at 901 S Royal Poinciana in Miami Springs, features state-of-the-art digital menu boards, flat screen televisions, a selection of bottled and draft beers, a wine selection, Blue Bell ice cream, and a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.

The opening celebration starts today, March 1 with a ribbon-cutting

ceremony and food specials until 3 p.m. Specials include 25 cent wings,

99 cent hot dogs, $2.99 six-inch Original Philly cheese steaks, and $2

classic Angus steak burgers, along with free coffee and Blue Bell ice

cream.

and free giveaways including an official Miami Subs gift pack to the

first 25 attendees. The above-mentioned food specials will be offered

during this time as well.

On Sunday, the party continues with food specials from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This marks the beginning of an expansion of several New Miami Subs Grill shops to the local market. Other locations in the works include South Beach and Miami.

So will Miami Subs equity partner and spokesman Pitbull make an

appearance at some point in the weekend? We asked and received back the

following answer: "Pitbull is rumored to attend."
