Uruguayan journalist and writer Eduardo Galeano once said: "We are all mortal until the first kiss and the second glass of wine." It seems appropriate, then, to drink some wine on a Thursday night with two wine tasting events in Miami.
First course is grilled octopus, chick peas, farro, pistachio vinaigrette paired with a 2010 Ferdi Veronese di Bianco; second course is duck and foie gras ravioli, summer truffle paired with a 2010 Regolo Rosso di Veronese; third course is braised veal shank, potato mousseline, orange gremalota, bone marrow sauce paired with a 2007 Amarone della Valpolicella Corte Bra; fourth course is strawberry tiramisu paired with a Villa Marzia Lemoncello.
The dinner is priced at $89, not including tax and gratuity. Reservations are limited but can be made at 786-975-2550.

The event includes a complimentary wine tasting and live art demonstration featuring Spanish artists Okuda and Remed, who are the designers of the bottle's artwork. They will paint a mural next to Cafeina referencing the vibrancy and expressiveness of Campo Viejo wine, Rioja, and Spanish culture. The mural will be unveiled following the wine tasting.
Unlike the wine dinner at Dolce, this event is completely free. It runs for two hours between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. But to attend, a reservation must first be made to firstname.lastname@example.org.
