Calling all meat and booze lovers (classy types only): Texas de Brazil, the Brazilian churrascaria on South Beach, is hosting a four-course wine dinner tonight, bookended by champagen reception beforehand and what is called the "Louis XIII Experience." Mr. XIII will not be appearing, but Steele Cooper, the brand ambassador for Louis XIII cognac (by Rémy Martin), will guide guests through a tasting (and history) of the spirits poured.

The menu includes various cuts of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and

sausage grilled and served tableside (churrascaria-style). Bearboat

Chardonnay gets paired with the beef and pork, Bearboat Syrah with the

others. Bookending the meats will be a watercress endive salad with

roquefort and candied walnuts and a Brazilian espresso flan with fresh

fruits, matched respectively by Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve

and Champagne Charles Heidiseck Rose Sauvage.

Meal takes place tonight, at 7 pm. Price is $125 per person. RSVP and deposit required.
