Repeat after us: Sanksgiving. It's the proper way to pronounce Thanksgiving in Spanglish. (Please don't call it día de acción de gracias, you dweeb.)
Anyway, have you begun prepping for the big day? Because it takes a long time. You have to brine the bird, mix the stuffing, peel the potatoes, mince the herbs, bake the pie, heat the cider, make the tamales... In other words, you're late.
Or maybe you'll just eat out. In which case, what follows are the ten best Thanksgiving meals at Miami restaurants. Here are the menus we're most excited about:
10. Rosa Mexicano
Make the trek to Lincoln Road and you'll receive complimentary hot apple cider with Mexican cinnamon at Rosa Mexicano. In addition to the restaurant's regular offerings, there will also be roast turkey with huitlacoche stuffing ($24) and a sticky pumpkin cake with pumpkin mole ice cream and cranberry salsa ($9).
Hours: Noon to 9 p.m.
DB Bistro's new executive chef, Jason Pringle, has big plans. Pringle will cook a three-course prix fixe dinner. Appetizers include duck foie gras terrine, basil-cured flounder, jumbo lump crab, and pumpkin soup. Then choose from a traditional Thanksgiving turkey, black grouper en papillote, or pumpkin ravioli. Desserts include a pumpkin tart and caramelized apple pie.
Hours: Noon to 8 p.m.
Price: $60 per person, plus tax and gratuity
8. Meat Market
There'll be many Thanksgiving specials at Meat Market. Try the lobster-stuffed turkey leg with pumpkin sauce and bok choy ($32); white cranberry sous-vide turkey breast with sweet potato flan ($35); or a mixed grill that combines the former turkey parts with a pork belly dish ($45). For dessert, order the chocolate chip pecan bourbon pie with sour cream ice cream ($12).
Hours: 6 p.m. to midnight
7. SushiSamba
Get your Thanksgiving fusion on at SushiSamba in Miami Beach and Coral Gables. Both restaurants will serves specials such as short-rib gyoza ($14), mojo-roasted turkey with quinoa stuffing ($24), and kabocha cheesecake with bourbon caramel sauce ($11). Bonus: A special cocktail combines red wine, pisco, sugar syrup, and orange zest with crème de cacao ($13).
Hours: 11:30 a.m. to midnight
6. Gotham Steak
On Thanksgiving, the steak house at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach will serve a four-course prix fixe dinner. Its menu includes roasted baby beets with green beans and walnut vinaigrette; roasted pumpkin soup with spiced Chantilly cream; bacon-marinated roast turkey breast with turkey leg confit; chorizo cornbread stuffing; and butter-whipped potatoes. Dessert is sweet potato pie with cinnamon ice cream.
Hours: 6 to 11 p.m.
Price: $75 per person
At this pan-Latin restaurant, Thanksgiving will be served family-style. That means you can share a multicourse meal comprising pumpkin soup with guajillo chili dust; picadillo empanadas; roast turkey with mole negro turkey gravy; green beans with chile de árbol; pumpkin crema Catalana; and more. Feeling fancy? Toro Toro will also offer foie gras panettone with pumpkin marmalade.
Hours: 2 to 10 p.m.

4. Scarpetta
It's pricey, but it sounds good. On Thanksgiving, Scarpetta -- Scott Conant's Italian restaurant at the Fontainebleau -- will offer a four-course, prix fixe dinner for 75 bucks. The price includes a choice of appetizers (butternut squash soup with toasted focaccia and crispy sage; burrata with broccoli rabe pesto and hazelnuts; polenta with truffled mushrooms; or braised beef short ribs with vegetable and farro risotto). Want pasta? Choose from the restaurant's fabled spaghetti with tomato and basil or braised rabbit raviolini. Main course highlights are beer sirloin with trumpet mushrooms, and turkey porchetta with Brussels sprouts.
Hours: 6 to 11 p.m.
Price: $75 per person
Sugarcane's Timon Balloo will offer à la carte specials and a prix fixe menu. Specials include turkey with spiced pumpkin purée ($21); braised lamb shank with minted orzo ragout ($23); pumpkin pie jar with burnt meringue ($7); and a cocktail made with white rum, ginger liquor, cranberry juice, and maple syrup ($13). If prix fixe menus are more your style, you'll also get a choice of pumpkin soup, seared scallops, and pan-seared foie gras.

We're suckers for unlimited drinks. And during Edge's Thanksgiving brunch, guests can get unlimited mojitos, mimosas, bloody marys, and draft beer. (Now that's our kind of holiday.) The daytime feast also includes a raw bar, taco stand, Thanksgiving eats, and a caja china-roasted pork. At night, diners can opt for a prix fixe menu that features kabocha squash soup, slow-roasted turkey, and pecan pie.
Hours: Brunch 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; dinner 6 to 11 p.m.
Price: Brunch costs $99 for adults, $32 for children; prix fixe dinner menu costs $49
1. The Dutch
Andrew Carmellini's restaurant is number one because of turducken. And turducken wins every time. The Dutch will offer a prix fixe dinner (served family-style or individually) that features the aforementioned poultry, root-beer-whipped sweet potatoes, pickled cranberry relish, pumpkin pie with pretzel crust and cranberry sorbet, sweet potato pie with rum raisin ice cream, and other delectable victuals.
