If you crave Sugar Yummy Mama's cupcakes during non-food truck hours (and we've been known to hoard a few for those emergency moments), you now only have to drive to a participating Sir Pizza restaurant.
Sugar Yummy Mama cupcakes are now available at seven Sir Pizza locations throughout Miami, with more coming on board soon. Locations include Coral Gables, Sunset, Hialeah, Westchester, Miramar, Pinecrest, and Palmetto Bay.
The cupcakes are available in vanilla, choco hard, domino (marble),
oreo, red velvet, and guava. Mini cupcakes are $1.60 each and regular
sized cupcakes are $2.60 each.
Sir Pizza first opened its doors
in 1968 in Key Biscayne, and has expanded to 10 stores and the Sir
Pizza food truck. The chain also plans to open a location at the new
Marlins Stadium.
Sugar Yummy Mama owner Giselle Pinto started her
mobile cupcake van in February, 2011, after seeing the burgeoning food
truck scene. The pink van can be seen at most roundups, and Pinto
frequently sells out of her cupcakes and cake pops. The partnership with
Sir Pizza marks the start of her cupcake expansion.
