Hot damn! Something we've all been waiting for! Unless of course, you're no body (or Michael Symon). The sixth annual Burger Bash raised the curtains on its much anticipated 2012 menu at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.

The meat 'n' bun monstrosities include Hot Chocolate's Signature Burger (bacon, four-year aged cheddar, hand-crafted giardiniera relish), Morimoto's Wagyu Burger & Pork Kakuni, Shake Shack's the SmokeShack (American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, cherry pepper relish and ShackSauce), and the ridiculously intriguing "Hangover 2" burger with prime hanger steak, aged cheddar and onions.

Rachael Ray's hosting the bash at the festival this Friday at 7:30 p.m. and all's we can say is, we're expecting a heck of a lot of fine meat to show up.

Let the bash begin!

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
