Attention all active duty military personnel and veterans, clear the chow hall and skip the parades, South Florida's taking you out for lunch, and dinner.  With proof of active duty military or veteran status, you can enjoy free grub at several restaurants.

When you wake up in the morning, head over to Dunkin' Donuts and get a free medium hot or iced coffee. Or maybe a free donut a Krispy Kreme.

Maybe for a mid-morning snack you'll want to grab a free slurpee for yourself and your immediate family at 7-11 stores between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

This one has a limited time span, so you might want to try Chlii's for lunch where they are offering a free entree for active duty

military and veterans between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Beverage not included.

Still hungry? Go to Outback Steakhouse for a free Bloomin' Onion and soft drink.

With the purchase of a drink, Hooters wants to give you 10 free boneless or traditional chicken wings.

Get a free order of Crazy Bread from Little Caesar's.

Olive Garden wants to feed you with a free entree, for lunch or dinner. Among other entrees, try seafood alfredo or chicken parmigiana. All entrees include fresh garlic breadsticks and your choice of homemade soup or fresh garden salad.

More? Ok. Enjoy a free signature entree at Applebee's. Choose from seven

different options including a Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, Oriental

Chicken Salad, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken

Tenders Platter, Seven ounce House Sirloin steak, or Three-Cheese

Chicken Penne. Beverages not included.

To finish off your night before passing out in a food coma, head to Red Lobster for a free dessert.

Although they don't have any deals today, just wait until Monday, November 14 between 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to claim your free dinner at Golden Corral. Hopefully the weekend is enough time to settle down after gorging your stomach.

Proof of military status  includes any one of the following: a military ID, retired miltary ID, a leave and earnings statement, veteran's organization card, a photograph in uniform or wearing a uniform, a DD214, or a military citation or commendation.

If you can manage to feed yourself for the entire day without using a single penny, then you are a true warrior. Happy Veteran's Day!
