I had never been to a brand new supermarket on opening day before. Amazing how it looks when every single item is in exactly the place it should be. At this point things have been moved around, but still, you might want to head over now if only for the free six-pack of some "Mtn Dew Game Fuel" -- which I'm pretty sure is something you drink. Plus you get one of those brightly colored cloth shopping bags that you probably already have way too many of. Quick observations:
- I was surprised at how many shoppers were in the store.
- So many workers were around -- about three per aisle, each coming over with salutations and offers of help. It's an opening day onslaught that will likely last only another few hours.
- The parking lot is set up awkwardly -- expect to see big logjam problems here.
