This weekend is all about channeling your inner demons. And scary clowns. And sexy kittens. And a Halloween Whopper.

It's Halloween weekend and that means dressing up and having a great time with friends. If you're still in need of a costume, might we suggest this amazing Halloween Whopper/sexy green poop combo? In any event, be safe and have fun. And, as I was once told by a bartender in New Orleans one night: How do you stop a vampire from following you home? Tip him.

Dewar's Scratch Cask Pop-Up Tasting Experience
If you've ever wanted to tour Scotland, here's your chance to roam the Highlands without leaving Miami. Today, October 30, Dewar's Scratched Cask is hosting a pop-up multi-sensory tasting experience at Shops at Midtown from 5 to 11 p.m. You'll enter a giant, ten-foot tall whisky barrel where you'll be transported to the Scottish Highlands, be fanned by the same flames that char and scratch the whisky barrels at the distillery and, be immersed in the creation of this whisky. Admission is free. Visit scratched360.com for details.

Get there early for happy hour from 5 to 8 p.m. Halloween night, Better Days will throw a party with a costume contest. Dress in your scary best to win cash and prizes. Don't forget to try the pumpkin moonshine cocktail.

Halloween Parade on Lincoln Road
This is the place to see the most elaborate costumes in Miami. From giant space aliens to Day of the Dead to elaborate drag queens, Lincoln Road's Halloween costume parade is right up there with legendary Halloween celebrations like Key West Fantasy Fest and the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade. The ghouls start coming out at 6 p.m., and it just gets more interesting as the night progresses. Several Lincoln Road restaurants, like Meat Market, SushiSamba, and Quattro Gastronomia Italiana are hosting watch parties.

Halloween at Village at Gulfstream Park
There's Halloween fun for everyone this Saturday at Village at Gulfstream Park. Bring the entire family to the kid friendly Not So Spooky Halloween party throughout the Village from 5 to 9 p.m. From 5 to 8 p.m. participating stores (and the casino) will participate in trick or treating. The Barker Animation gallery hosts a costume contest, and there are face painting and character photo opportunities.  At night, the grownups take over with a movie monster bash at Martini Bar, starting at 8 p.m. Strike 10 Bowling & Sports Bar is giving away a $100 gift card to the top three costumes of the night at 10 p.m., and Mijana Lebanese Cuisine is hosting a live performance and Halloween celebration. A live DJ holds court until 11 p.m.

HalloWyn
Wynwood turns super spooky on Halloween night at HalloWyn. This free block party invites you to hang out with your favorite ghouls and enjoy a DJ mixing live while classic horror films play on a giant 240-inch screen. At 10 p.m., do the Time Warp as HalloWyn showcases The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Dress in your finest, weirdest, or sexiest for a chance to win the $500 grand prize in the costume contest. Admission is free and if you're a mortal who needs more than flesh or blood to sate you, there are 25 food trucks, cash bars, and beer from Desperado and Heineken for your eating and drinking pleasure.
