If Miami was your girlfriend (be it the dating kind or the platonic kind), what would you do with her this weekend?

There are plenty of options (like Flugtag at Bayfront Park, and DWNTWN Art Days, and so on) but there is also an Italian dinner in South Beach, a sports bar grand opening happening in Coconut Grove, and a getty in MiMo with your favorite peeps from New Times.

Grab your girl or guy and show Miami that you take full advantage of living in the greatest city on earth.

Duffy's Sports Grill Grand Opening in Coconut Grove

Friday, Coconut Grove's first location of Duffy's Sports Grill will officially open to the public. The Lake Worth-based fast casual sports bar and grill will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at 11a.m., but for those of us who work during the day and can't make it, you can head over after work for opening day drink specials and bar bites. Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, and other decision-makers from Coconut Grove will be there to help kick off the opening.

Drinks & Bites with New Times at Moonchine

Moonchine is highly underrated. Did you know that the Asian fusion restaurant hosts live concert series and promotes the local art scene? Now you do. Tonight at 9:30, New Times is having a little get-together and we're inviting all our friends (that's you!). Enjoy Moonchine drinks and bites and hang out with us for a good time. It's better than sitting at home with terrible Friday night TV on. Also, get the mango sticky rice. Thank us later.
