There are a lot of options for your weekend festivities -- and many of them include beer, which is not too shabby.
Tobacco Road celebrates "last call," and although plans have been announced for the bar to move (and take a well-deserved cruise), it's a safe bet that thousands of people will show up to relieve a few memories -- and make new ones.
If you've got little ones or just like a side of spooky to go with your brunch, Tongue & Cheek is (g)hosting a fiendishly fun Halloween bash.
Of course, there's also a seafood festival on South Beach, and a bunch of beer-related activities including pairings, dinners, and our every own Beerfest.

New Belgium Clips Tour
You know what's better than dinner and a movie? Beer and a movie! New Belgium agrees with that statement, which is why its bringing its Clips Tour to Miami.
Tonight, October 24, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., Margaret Pace Park will turn into an outdoor short film festival, featuring nearly two dozen shorts in a multitude of genres from documentaries to comedies, each created by New Belgium fans and submitted to the brewery for inclusion into the festival.
New Belgium is also bringing their most interesting and rare beers for Miami film lovers to try. The beers include Wild Dubbel, Snapshot Wheat, Gruit, Gratzer, Le Terroir, La Folie, Ranger IPA, 1554, Trippel, Abbey, Blue Paddle, Shift, Tour de Fall, Cigar City Collaboration, Rampant Imperial IPA, and, of course, Fat Tire. Admission is free (and you can bring a picnic and chairs), and beers are $1.25 for a sample; $5 for a 12-ounce beer.
Brooklyn Brewery Mash
Brooklyn Brewery is such a typical New Yorker, coming to Miami for the second year in a row to party. But, oh what a party. This weekend, the Brewery is hosting a bunch of events including an eat and learn, a beer brunch, and a dinner on the farm. Follow the

Saturday, October 25, Brooklyn Brewery's own chef Andrew Gerson will teach you about food and beer pairings (complete with tastings). It all goes down at 2 p.m. at Whole Foods Coral Gables.
On Sunday, October 26, forget the mimosas and enjoy a beer brunch at Lou's Beer Garden. Starting at 11 a.m. you'll enjoy Brooklyn beers paired with Lou's brunch items poolside. Plus, one lucky diner will win a pass to the entire Mash week (pay as you go).
That same afternoon, head out to Paradise Farms at 3 p.m. for an early dinner featuring farm-raised produce, local artists, and Brooklyn beer. Chefs Andrew Gerson and Cesar Zapata from the Federal Food Drink and Provisions collaborate on the menu. Tickets are $55.
Chef Showdown at the South Beach Seafood Festival
The best thing about living in Miami is access to some of the freshest seafood known to mankind -- year round. While the rest of the country is breaking our their winter boots, we're going to frolic on the soft sands of South Beach at the Hess Select South Beach Seafood Festival. Events are already underway, but there's still time to catch the two main draws -- the Chef Showdown and the actual festival.
Tonight, October 24, head to the Goya Culinary Pavilion at Lummus Park, to watch some of Miami's best chefs go head to head at the Chef Showdown. The competition, which starts at 8 p.m., features four different battles, each pitting two chefs in a head-to-head duel from restaurants that include Siena Tavern, Naked Taco, Red the Steakhouse, Cibo, City Hall, Oceanaire, Dolce, Poseidon, Florida Cookery, Cafe Avanti, Park Central, and more, with celebrity chef Ralph Pagano hosting the fun. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $150 each and include tastings and wine. Guests are also invited to vote for their favorites during the chef showdown.
On Saturday, October 25, return to Lummus Park for the big South Beach Seafood Festival. From 1 to 9 p.m., enjoy seafood from Miami's best restaurants with dishes priced between $5-10. There's live entertainment, a demo stage, a Goya kids' zone, a health village, cool down stations, and creative cocktails. Little Monster's Halloween Bash at Tongue & Cheek
Got a little monster and thinking of going to Disney for that Not-So-Scary party thrown by a famous mouse? Forget the four-hour drive with kids in the car and take them to Tongue & Cheek's Little Monster's Halloween Bash instead.
On Saturday, October 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., chef/owner Jamie DeRosa hosts a family-friendly semi-spooky brunch filled with all kinds of fun activities like pumpkin painting, costume contests, and balloon artists. Plus, kids under 12 eat free from the kids-themed menu -- nothing scary about that! Of course, the Cheek's regular Saturday brunch menu is available for adults with some additional Halloween treats and drink specials -- because mommy needs a cocktail.
Beerfest at Esplanade Park
On Saturday, October 25, Fort Lauderdale's Esplanade Park is the host to New Times' Original Beerfest, where for the price of a few pints you can sample over 100 different beers including many local Florida brews. Truly a beer lover's paradise, the event will showcase many rare beers and old favorites. Of course, there's live music, great food, and a home brewer's competition.

Tobacco Road's Last Call
Tobacco Road is closing. OK, so they're just moving down the street... and opening a food truck... and a bar on a cruise ship. But still, there's something special about the original building. So, say goodbye to the old gal one last time at Tobacco Road's Last Call party on Saturday, October 25. Starting at 8 p.m., enjoy live music, a death burger at the new Tobacco Road food truck, and toast to the Road. The party ends officially at 5 a.m. Sunday morning and admission is $10 or donate to their Kickstarter campaign and get a free ticket with a minimum $25 pledge.
