For the past few weeks, Short Order has been wrapping up all things food-related in one giant, virtual doggie bag labeled 2012. From Pete Wells' epic skewering of Guy Fieri to the played-out pork belly - it's been a wild ride on the foodie roller coaster this year.

And now that you're facing your last weekend of 2012, it's time to make these last few hours count. For every Taco Bell burrito, microwaveable mac & cheese and Bud Light you consumed this year - now is the time to maximize those minutes and eclipse your edible transgressions. We've got a few ideas.

Friday

$2 drinks at Tobacco Road. Woe is us, another long weekend. However will we pass the time? Drinking ourselves into an early oblivion is one way to kick off the New Year's festivities. Miami's oldest bar is serving up $2 drinks for 100 minutes (one minute for each of their hundred years) starting at 6 p.m.

Saturday

Lunch it up at Khong River House. 50 Egg's newly opened eatery just rolled out their lunch menu. From pork belly Bahn Mi to hot & sticky Thai chicken wings, it's a 5,000 year old farm to table experience complete with Buddhist blessings. Check out Short Order's take on the new Northern Thai spot here.

Sunday

Drag brunch at The Palace If your 2012 has been lacking in the company of transvestite songstresses, you've wasted the last 12 months. For $31.95, score an eye and earful - plus unlimited mimosas and a menu that includes steak 'n' eggs, breakfast burritos, pancakes and other tasty treats.

Write your anti-resolutions. We're foodies, so vowing to give up our favorite things is nothing short of blasphemous. Instead, make a meal of all the foods that keep life worth living. We'll get you started ...
