Yesterday was National Rum Day, but who says you can't celebrate all week long? Head over to Libertine where you can snag the Spicy Bull cocktail half price this week. That's sure to make your Monday a little less Monday-esque.

If rum's not really your thing, get a sneak peak of Chef Ryan Martin's one-of-a-kind beer made just for 180 Degrees at the DRB on Tuesday night at a Wynwood Tap Takeover. On Wednesday, Miami Beach's Klima is hosting the beloved Tapas and Turntables, where every cocktail comes with a free appetizer. And Thursday, sip 'n' shop your way through the Gables at Obba Sushi & More's private shopping experience. Alcohol, tasty bites, and shopping sound like the perfect way to finish up another week and get us right back to Friday.

Monday

The Spicy Bull at Libertine Miami
Add a little spice to your Monday, and check out Libertine's popular Spicy Bull cocktail for $5 (versus $10) for the entire week (through August 23). Curious where the drink gets its funky name? It's made with Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, fresh lime juice, and ruby red grapefruit juice then topped with Red Bull Yellow and a jalapeño slice for some added heat.

Tuesday

Wynwood Tap Takeover at 180 Degrees at the DRB
Wynwood Brewing Co. is making its way south to downtown's 180 Degrees for a tap takeover from 5 to 11 p.m. They'll be showcasing seven different craft beers, one of them made just for Chef Ryan Martin's restaurant. The unveiling will take place at 7 p.m., and beer is limited. Chef Martin has not given any hints about the flavor but, with his "gastronomy redefined" concept, we can't say we don't have high expectations. Beer and wine will be offered at half-price during happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and sharing dishes under $10 is encouraged. Examples: Angus sliders, snow crab egg rolls, candied bacon, maduros y queso frito, and fried chicken sliders topped with jicama apple slaw, jalapeño, and horseradish garlic aioli.

Wednesday

Tapas and Turntables at Klima
There'll be a mint julep with bourbon and fresh mint, paired with tuna toast, chipotle, leek, and lime. Or a classic pisco sour with lemon juice, paired with oysters in ponzu sauce and salmon roe. The combinations of cocktails and tapas are endless, and this hump day from 9 p.m. to midnight, get a complimentary tapa with every cocktail ordered.

Thursday

Sip-N-Shop Coral Gables at Obba Sushi & More
Shop your way through Thursday night while sipping on cocktails and snacking on Obba Sushi's best rolls — all two for one. From rolls like tuna and avocado to ceviche, guests nibble, drink, and shop around at South Miami's best clothing and beauty boutiques. The boutiques change each week, but some reoccurring staples are Bloom Boutique and La Bella Salon. Make sure to RSVP to reserve your spot. Call (305) 856-9016 or email [email protected].
