Monday

Lobster at Semilla

Until tomorrow, December 30, Semilla will be cooking up an end-of-year closing lobster feast. Choose from lobster and mango remoulade or lobster, potato, and scallion chowder. Keep the lobster theme going strong with a lobster and truffle risotto or lobster thermidor. Dessert is a mystery degustation from the chef. There's a 50 percent chance of lobster. Dinner costs $59 per person.

Tuesday

One Last Happy Hour at Tamarina

You require one last round of inexpensive expertly crafted cocktails. Lucky for you, Tamarina's happy hour begets just that and more. Negroni's and thyme bellinis are just $6, while beers are $4 and wines $5. But that's not all. Get a taste of their coastal Italian cuisine, starting with half-priced oysters. They've got a daily rotating selection to choose from. Shrimp cocktails ($5), prosciutto and bresaola boards ($7), and fried polenta ($7) are also proffered during the Monday through Friday 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. happy hour.

Wednesday

Thursday

First Brunch of 2015 at Eating House

There's a 90 percent chance you're hung over the first day of 2015, but you'll want to start your year off right. What better way than with a great brunch? Eating House is having a special pre-fixe seven-course cure for your NYE hangover brunch. Start off with a Tang mimosa followed by some new dishes and classics. Think carbonara hash browns with black truffle and Parmigiano, pan con lechon with pork belly and guava, general tso's chicken and waffles with maple-soy and scallion, and, of course, mini Cap'n Crunch pancakes -- because 2015 wouldn't quite be the same without them. Trying to nurse your hangover with what got you there in the first place? Pitchers of Tang mimosas are available for $20.15 extra in addition to the set price of $45. Tickets must be purchased in advanced by calling Eating House.
