Monday
Farmer's Market at Adrienne Arsht Center
There's a new farmer's market in town, and this one is happening at Parker and Vann Thompson Plaza at the Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts. Every Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. you'll be able to secure Zak the Baker's famous sourdough and Keez Beez exotic honeys that have been harvested right down south in Marathon Key. Think Brazilian peppers, black mangroves, and seagrapes. Loads of organic fruits and veggies, as well as fresh-cut sunflowers will also be on deck, and even fresh guacamole, burrata, mozarella, and mamey smoothies. Start your week off right every week.
Tuesday
Diner en Blanc at Mystery Location
Basel might be over, but the glitz and glamour continues with Miami's inaugural Diner en Blanc. Tomorrow evening, a thousand people will revel in all-white attire over food and drinks at an unknown location. The first Diner en Blanc ever started in Paris circa 1988 and has now expanded to 50 locations (including Miami as the 14th American city). The all-white party invites guests to bring their own everything from gourmet food to white tables, chairs, tablecloths and even china and silverware. (No plastic anything allowed.) A waiting list for 2015 has already opened, so plan ahead and secure your spot for a year from now.
