Mark Dorfman, along with father-son duo Igor & Fred Niznik is giving the Wynwood community and its lovable hipster culture a place to get loose. It's a 1927 single-family home that's been conserved till now, like a fine bottle of wine. TSL or The Social Lubricant lounge will have its grand opening next weekend during Art Walk. They are doing a soft opening this weekend, allowing people to get used to the space, which features an inside and outside area.

The outside open area is filled with black mod couches where you can fall asleep if overly lubricated. Oh and they've got hookah's for in-between or after ... drinks. The inside area, from what we can tell, is funky...perfect for a place that prides itself on making people less dry and more lubricated. And that's not all.

TSL's owners are also opening The Butcher Shop next door -- the spaces may eventually be joined. We hear Butcher Shop will be a one-of-a-kind meat market and restaurant where cuts and legs will hang at your disposal waiting to be picked and then cooked to order on the spot.

We're still a little dry on facts, but once The Social Lubricant lounge opens, we'll have more on these two new additions to the arts district. With more production studios setting up shop here each day and Leonardo DiCaprio just walking around on a Tuesday afternoon (yup, we saw him), Wynwood is on the rise. What better way than to beef up a neighborhood that's going nowhere but up than with places where the creative population can eat and get socially lubricated?
