Kim Kardashian is an American sex symbol.

Dr. Sanford Siegal is the Miami doctor who invented his own "cookie diet."

The two are at war. Dirty, paper, legal war. And they're fighting over things like what Kardashian has said via Twitter and a misleading link on the doctor's website.

Kim Kardashian currently represents a rival diet company. Dr. Siegal feels she's trying to take him out.

The lawsuit he's filed against her, and the cease and desist letter she's fired at him have both been reported on TMZ, Hollywood's CNN.

Dr. Sanford Siegal is quick on the draw. We here at Short Order once referred to him as a sound-a-duck-makes, and he sent us a letter too.

Here's a copy of the letter that Kim Kardashian's representatives sent to Dr. Sanford Siegal.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Miami with no paywalls.
