Looks like Food & Wine isn't the only national culinary magazine that has trouble locating Miami on the map. The latest issue of Food Arts (April 2010), a glossy industry publication "at the restaurant and hotel forefront", reports two exciting new Miami restaurant openings: Pacific Time debuted in the Design District "in January", and Bourbon Steak opened in Aventura "at the end of December". Fact is, both establishments have been in their current locations since 2008. (Note to Food Arts editors: If you want a backup stringer for Rip Van Winkle, give me a call).
We can't wait for the May issue in order to learn details about the rumored arrival of a place called Michy's.
