Do you love Short Order? Do you wake up with us every morning and fall asleep with us every night?

We don't blame you. We're kind of sort of awesome.

But you're, like, 90 percent of that undeniable greatness. As a thank-you for your love and loyalty, we're offering up a discount on Iron Fork tickets to save you a couple bucks and get you into the biggest party in town.

Interested?

There's no catch. All you have to do is enter the promo code FOODIE, and you'll receive a $5 discount on your GA tickets. The code will be acceptable starting today until July 31. Don't let the time escape you, buy them now.

Inserting the promo is so easy, a food blogger could do it.

It'll go from this:

To this:

Once you get your discount (who doesn't love a discount on a Thursday?) you can start daydreaming about the food from the 45 local restaurants that will be at your finger tips. Then you can shift over to imagining the intense pressure and stress from watching chefs Jamie DeRosa and Giorgio Rapicavoli battle for victory in the cooking competition. Perhaps afterwards, you can start trying to guess what their mystery ingredient will be. Last year, it was bacon.

What can we expect next?

Lavender? Thai eggplant? Cayenne pepper?! The heat is on -- literally.

The only way to find out is if you just go see it for yourself. We promise you, it'll be a blast.

The Iron Fork/Miami Spice Kickoff will take place August 1 at 7 PM at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Tickets cost $40 until July 31 for GA and $75 for VIP. The Short Order discount promo code will price GA tickets at $35 until July 31. VIP ticket holders get to take part in the action an hour before GA is admitted inside and enjoy wine, beer, and Bacardi cocktails. You can buy your tickets here: microapp.miaminewtimes.com/ironfork/2013.
