We told you that Damn Good Burger was coming downtown. Now that day dawns with a big burger give-a-away. The doors fly open at 11 a.m. sharp and the first three hundred customers to show receive free double patties. That's right, lunch is on DGB. This is free beef with a conscience -- humanely raised, antibiotic and hormone free. It's even age certified, so at least your cow made it past puberty.
Whereas previously we reported that Damn Good Burger would be replacing Mia at Biscayne, in truth the two properties have seamlessly combined. The restaurant is actually on the lower level, while Mia the nightclub benefits from burgers to go alongside bottle service. There's an "uppity cow burger" ($8.99) with brie and onion marmalade and a "banh mi burger" ($7.99) with a slab of pork belly and sweet chili mayo, among other things, The offerings attempt to break the burger mold.
"Other Damn Good Stuff" includes chili-cheese dogs ($4.79) and a beer
battered buffalo chicken sandwich ($7.47), no word on whether or not
those chickens, like the cows, are age appropriate. "Adult" milkshakes ($9.79) made with Baileys
and Grand Marnier make alcohol consumption a sweet task and craft beers
focus on American labels.

The place has clearly been resurrected
from it's former life as Mia; pretty fancy for a burger joint. Hanging
chandeliers, hot pink leather booths and just like in a Miami club (and nearby competitor Burger & Beer Joint), they like to stamp their name on your buns.
