South Beach will welcome a new modern bistro with New York style, when Charles St. opens at the Boulan South Beach Hotel at the end of February.
The intimate 70-seat restaurant will feature affordable food, hand-crafted cocktails, and a diverse wine selection. The restaurant, designed by Casa Conde & Associates, will feature a communal counter and cozy dining tables.
The restaurant, a collaboration between Maso Hospitality Group and THINK Hospitality, will be open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night service, with plans for a weekend brunch.
Maso Hospitality Group's founder Ken Ray envisions Charles St. as a
"go-to neighborhood spot with a fresh, approachable menu." Maso is also the name behind Maso at Trump Towers and the anticipated Bar Crudo in SoFi.
Charles
St. will open in time for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival with a
special invitation-only VIP celebration hosted by celebrity chef Todd English. The
February 22 event will benefit Alonzo & Tracy Mourning's Mourning
Family Foundation.
