According to a new study, Miami-based Burger King, has the worst drive-thru when it comes to service, speed, and accuracy.

The study, conducted by QSR Magazine, is conducted annually and rates the drive-thrus of Chick-fil-A, Krystal, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Burger King. Categories such as service time, order accuracy, wait time, speaker clarity, and exterior appearance are used to quantify the quality of each drive-thru.

The study was conducted between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to test the peak times of lunch and dinner.

I admit that I haven't been a frequent patron of fast food restaurants in recent years, but I have to disagree that our local fast food giants are the worst of the bunch.

I spoke with four 305ers to get their opinion.

"I beg to differ. I'd say McDonald's has inferior service compared to the Burger Kings that I've been to. I've had bad experiences with drive-thrus from all fast food restaurants, but I'd say Burger King is definitely not the worst," says Miami resident Larry Galvez.

Liz Gariazzo also thinks that there are worse drive-thrus than Burger King's. ""I haven't had a problem with them. I can tell you that Taco

Bell is horrible; they get orders all wrong. Rare is the occasion that I've

had an issue with a BK drive-thru. I know years ago, their service was subpar,

but lately I haven't had any issues."

According to the study, Burger King also had the least friendly employees. Vilmary Martinez agrees. "They take way too long to get me my order and the workers tend to be very rude."

Considering it's a fast food restaurant, perhaps local resident Rochelle Collazo sums it up best. "I haven't had an awesome experience; it's usually just okay or horrible...but mostly just okay."
