It's weird that we can already talk about the legacy Chef Jeff McInnis left behind at Gigi -- especially considering he wasn't even there for a year. His wildly inventive daily specials were always a hit, quickly selling out night after night. But there is one dish of his that still lives in the regular menu at a post-McInnis Gigi. We hate the description, stick to your ribs, but there isn't a better way to describe the steak chow fun ($16). The steak is always cooked a perfect medium-rare, the spongy eggplant absorbs all the glaze, and the thick rice noodles feel sloppy and delicious all at the same time. Who knew you could take something that feels foreign and make it into choice comfort food.
