Beginning this Saturday at 5 p.m., everyone 21 or older is welcome to stop by Wynwood Brewing Company's taproom for a fresh-off-the keg taste of what Miami's first craft production brewery has to offer.

The taproom, which overlooks the brewery, will offer pints starting at $5. They will also offer flight tastings for those who want to try all the beer or can't finish a whole pint: four brews for $6, five brews for $7, and six brews for $8. Beers include Pop's Porter, named for Founder Luis Brignoni's father, La Rubia pale ale, Wynwood IPA, and the limited-edition Stiglitz Imperial Marze specially made for Oktoberfest.

The space is a bit off the beaten Second Saturday path and will offer a place for fans of craft brew to convene at a beautiful solid wood bar, sip, and discuss what's on tap as Brignoni, who has been brewing since college, passionately describes how your beverage came to be.

In addition to the bar that overlooks the brewery, the room will have large butcher-block-style tables with an eclectic mix of chairs to create an intimate and welcoming vibe. Everywhere you look, the taproom reflects its Wynwood roots, with walls adorned with murals by local artists, bringing to fruition the brewery's mission to support its neighbors.

More than an inviting space with cold beer on tap, the room is designed to help continue to grow and shape Miami's craft beer scene, which has been in the making for years with help from craft beer bars such as Lou's Beer Garden, Abbey Brewing Company, and Abraxas Lounge. "Our beer is brewed with passion, and we want people to come see that for themselves," Brignoni said. "We won't be open that late -- that's what our partners like Wood Tavern and Gramps are for. The taproom is more of a community center where people can get familiar with and enjoy our craft beer."

The brewery also plans to launch Vine Club, an annual members-only tasting club, along with tours of the brewery to those curious about the brewing process. The taproom's initial hours are below, but check their website for the most up-to-date hours and the Beer Finder, which lists bars and restaurants proudly serving Wynwood Brewing Company beers on tap.
