World of Beer Dadeland's Anniversary Bash: Brew Discounts, Loyalty Perks

Anniversaries are awesome, particularly when they're celebrating the dawning of a world inhabited by beer -- as opposed to the annual renewal of a played-out relationship.

So get stoked about World of Beer Dadeland's one-year anniversary this Saturday. It means free food for loyalty club members, cheap beer, and contests too. Much better than drugstore flowers or cheap jewelry.

The shindig to celebrate the bar's 365 days of life will run from open to close. Though regular joes are more than welcome, loyalty club members will get all kinds of sweet perks. (Joining the loyalty club is a pretty good deal. For a onetime fee of $15, you score a free WOB T-shirt and 25 percent off all bottles on Tuesdays.)

And on party day, beginning at 1 p.m., there'll be free food from El Sitio as long as it lasts and a Cigar City specialty keg, all for members only.

Plus, from noon to 5 p.m. anyone wearing a WOB T-shirt will score 50 percent off select drafts, and those who bring a 100 mug, Radenburger mug, or WOB stein get $10 Kona Lagers all day.

Attendees who purchase a $3 Kona draft (or who are wearing a loyalty tee or buy an anniversary tee) will receive a raffle ticket to win a bunch of cool swag from on-site vendors such as Natalie's Creative Occasion, Giardino Gourmet Salads, 600 Million Dogs, Opus Ales, and others. Raffles will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight, and you must be there to win.

In addition, there'll be live music by Bento Box from 7 p.m. to midnight.

According to assistant general manager Eileen Lange, everyone should come out to "celebrate one year of sharing the love of great craft beer!"

We can hardly believe this beeradise has been open a whole year, but we're stoked it's aging with grace.
