The mere thought of Iron Fork, the premiere Miami event on October 18 from 7 - 10 p.m. at Grand Central that features the best Miami restaurants serving up tasty morsels for your nibbling enjoyment has got your mouth watering.

Add to that an open bar featuring crafted cocktails made with Smirnoff, Captain Morgan, and Guinness Black Lager and it's almost too good to bear.

As you're thinking to yourself, "this evening simply cannot get any more tantalizing", you'll remember the chefs competition where Blue Collar chef/owner Daniel Serfer will battle Phillip Bryant, chef de cuisine of Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in a death match of epic proportions.

Now -- what if we said we wanted to give you a pair of VIP tickets? Just because, you know, we like you and stuff.

Short Order has a pair of Iron Fork VIP tickets to give away and it's pretty easy to win. Just friend us on Facebook and

go to our page. In the comments field, tell us why we should pick you

(flattery, begging, and creativity completely count). The most creative

answer... the one that tugs at our heartstrings the most... will win the

tickets, valued at $70 each. We'll announce the winner Monday morning.

The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m., with doors opening at 6

p.m. for VIP ticket-holders, who enjoy an extra hour of food and drink.

General-admission tickets cost $40 in advance ($50 at the door); VIP tickets are $70 in advance ($80 at the door). Click here to purchase tickets. (You know... just in case you don't win.)
