Grand Opening at Barter Wynwood. This weekend, Barter Wynwood, a bar, lounge, and consignment shop, will grand open with drink specials, live music, and more on Friday. Expect $3 beers, $4 bites, and $5 spirits from 5 to 8 p.m. Swing by Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. for a "trade show," where customers can trade in retro gear and antiques at the bar in exchange for specials, such as a free round of drinks every time a customer visits the bar in a month. There will also be a toy drive: Anyone who brings an unwrapped toy will get a complimentary drink. Growler USA Opens in Wynwood. Saturday, Growler USA is set to open in Wynwood, bringing 100 different brews on tap to the already beer-centric neighborhood. The Colorado-based franchise of microbrew pubs was established in 2014. The Wynwood location is owned by Carlos De Leon, and will showcase South Florida breweries including Wynwood Brewing Company, Barrel Of Monks, the Tank, J. Wakefield, Funky Buddha, and more. In addition to beer, Growler USA will offer a menu of pub grub including beer batter chicken tenders, a "brewban", and a bromance burger topped with carnitas, BBQ sauce, bacon and crispy onion. 337 NW 25th St., Miami; 305-960-7862; growlerusa.com.

Bunnie Cakes Bakery Pops Up in Downtown Doral. Miami's iconic, plant-based purveyor of sweet and savory treats is hosting its first-ever pop-up just in time for the season of eating. The Wynwood-based business is now selling vegan and gluten-free cupcakes in the downtown Doral Holiday Center through December 24 in case you need some last-minute Christmas treats. The pop-up is in addition to a full menu of holiday treats available at the main Bunnie Cakes location. Customers can order everything from Christmas cakes to wreath cookies to seasonal mini cupcakes and more. It's time to dig through your closet and throw on your most festive holiday sweater to rock the night away. Show off your look while diving into food and drink specials. Drag Brunch at R House. R House's popular Sunday Drag Brunch was recently extended to Saturday too. Both days, savor unlimited small plates brought to your table and continually replenished, as well as a choice of hearty entrées, including cinnamon French toast and truffled skirt steak and eggs. Brunch at Novikov. Kick off your holiday feasting with Novikov Miami's new Duck and Dim Sum Sundays. For $49 per person, two diners can dig into a half Peking duck and ten different dumpling plates, such as spicy prawn moneybags andsaffron sweet corn dumplings. The restaurant's à la carte menu offers favorites such as king crab honey truffle and hamachi carpaccio. Take it up a notch and pair your brunch with a sake flight ($16 to $26).
