Now that Miami Spice is officially over, some of us might be feeling a bit somber. We now have to pay the real price for dinner.
But wait! Soleà at the W South Beach is offering a prix fixe three-course menu for $45. Through November 15, guests can choose from four appetizers, four entrées, and two desserts. This offer is for dinner only, and the menu will change periodically.
Choose from gazpacho Andaluz con gambas al limón (gazpacho with lemon shrimp confit) as an appetizer; suquet de pescados y mariscos con Romesco (Maine lobster, shrimp, and monkfish stew with potato cream and Romesco sauce) for your entrée; and mousse de chocolate (dark chocolate mousse) for dessert.
The deal doesn't stop there. You can also load up on wine such as a 2009 Bodegas Escudero Becquer Blanco for $13 a glass or $47 per bottle.
The restaurant has been through some recent trauma with the exit of Marc Vidal. And our food critic, Lee Klein, gave it a so-so review last year. But this deal could be the thing that keeps 'em coming.
