Some of you may be familiar with POC American Fusion Buffet & Sushi in Coral Gables. Considered by many. a step above your average Asian all-you-can-eat joint, POC does offer superior quality, service, décor, and yes, food. Now it all also offers the perfect place to watch the game and drink your day away.

POC now offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and a colleague invited us to tag along last Sunday morning. We were able to watch the some great footballon one of the large screen TVs - add that to unlimited mimosas for only $7 over the cost of the brunch buffet ($16.19), and you don't have to ask us twice.

Many of the items offered during lunch and dinner also make an appearance at brunch, from spring rolls to sashimi. Expect an extensive sushi bar (try the Manhattan bridge roll), salads (including greens, caprese, chicken, fruit, and more), a carving station, soup station, Asian food, station, and dessert.

Is everything at POC out of this world? Of course not, but some things are. The sushi is fantastic and fresh, and the rollers do not skimp on the ingredients - rolls are loaded with seafood. The carving station offers well-cooked, well-seasoned prime rib, steak, chicken breast, and sausage, and then there's the breakfast station...

If the inexpensive sushipalooza and the ridiculously inexpensive mimosa upgrade hadn't hooked us, the breakfast station would have. Apart from waffles and crepes (plain, strawberry, chocolate, and more) cooked fresh to order and omelettes with all kinds of ingredients also made fresh to order, POC's breakfast station offers fresh...unlimited...BACON.

Heck, we could imagine sitting at the bar and watching the Dolphins play the Falcons game while pounding down nothing but bacon and champagne. But that's just us, right?
