Pincho Factory's toston burger won over Hoda and Kathie Lee on the Today Show last month. That gave locals a reason to be thankful Nedal Ahmad's creation is readily available when hunger pangs hit. After opening his second location in Coral Gables last August, Ahmad is ready to expand again. This time to where he originally planned to put his first restaurant, his hometown of Hialeah.
While it will not be ready until the second half of this year, the Pincho kings are saying #HelloHialeah tonight with an event at Sweetness Bake Shop featuring burgers, desserts, and free beer.

They are taking over the former spot of Koky's Barbeque Ranch, a neighborhood go-to for over 40 years. Ahmad is planning on transforming the entire space but will also pay homage to Koky's with a mural painted on the inside. It'll be the first standalone restaurant with 100 seats, more than his two existing locations combined.
The owners of Sweetness Bake Shop are good friends of Ahmad's and they provide all the desserts at Pincho Factory. To get things rolling and introduce the concept to the city, the two are pairing up for a dinner tonight from 6 to 11 p.m. Entry is free and there will be Pincho Factory classic menu items for sale, along with Sweetness Bake Shop desserts and free beer from Lagunitas and Abita.
