We knew that something good would have to come from the public relations debacle that Chick-fil-A is in the midst of. And we were right!
Thankfully there are comedians that rock our world and shed light (and some much-needed humor) on whether to boycott or support a fast food restaurant that gives money to politically-motivated anti-gay organizations.
So, we've complied a collection of the best videos to come out of this insanity. From a gay Col. Sanders to a chicken full of double entendres, here are our favorite Chick-fil-A videos.
Thank you Funny or Die for being there for us, the chicken eating public. And thank you, Colonel Sanders for coming back from the grave (OK, it's really John Goodman in his tour de force role), and letting us know that KFC loves gays! In this video, complete with cute boys dipping their drumsticks in hot meat gravy, the colonel admits that he loves gays...hell, he might be gay himself:
Conan O'Brien took a completely different approach. In a bold move that some might interpret as supporting the restaurant in question, Coco introduces Chaz, the Intolerant Chick-fil-A chicken. This rooster is one nasty cock, spouting politically incorrect words of wisdom like "the only hot meat a man should put inside himself is a Chick-fil-A classic."
If three drag queens sing about Chick-fil-A, does the baby Jesus weep? Yes he does, according to this tuneful video. William Belli, Detox, and Vicky Vox channel Wilson Phillips and give us an inspiring anthem that involves waffle fries, lots of makeup, and boys in hot tubs.
In order to fund his upcoming Fire Island trip, Randy Rainbow takes a job at Chick-fil-A. Unfortunately, it's chicken pride day (or something), and he's a little too busy to give his customers the personal attention they're used to.
Jon Stewart gives Chick-fil-A (and the Boys Scouts) some tips in his "gaywatch" segment. Like....even Boston doesn't want you!
