Miami's Best Holiday Beers Bring Out the Flavors of the Season

Christmas is a great time to gather your friends and hoist a pint or two at one of Miami's breweries. Most make seasonal beers rich in holiday flavors. Brews spiced with clove and cinnamon or exuding sweet hints of coconut and vanilla conjure images of sleigh rides and snowball fights — even in Miami. Here is a list of breweries making great holiday beers to get you through to the new year.
Concrete Beach Brewery. Another year, another holiday release of Deck the Walls spiced imperial porter. Each year, the brewery chooses a different artist to design the original can artwork during Art Basel. Lincoln's Beard Brewing Company. The brewery recently released its Blessed Be the Fruit sour ale ($7.50 per pint), which was made with 150 pounds of clementines. J. Wakefield Brewing Company. J. Wakefield Brewing is getting into the holidays with its bourbon barrel-aged Welcome to the Thunderdome porter. This imperial porter is loaded with coconut, Tahitian vanilla bean, and coffee. Currently on draft at the taproom, a ten-ounce pour is $11. Nightlife Brewing Company. Seinfeld fans will be thrilled to know NightLife Brewing Co. is brewing two Festivus-themed beers that will be tapped on December 26. The Airing of Grievances IPA will have hints of pine, and Feats of Strength stout will be brewed with blackberries. Spanish Marie. The day after Christmas, Spanish Marie Brewing Company will release four seasonal iterations of its brown ale: Churros brown ale, Arroz Con Leche brown ale, Coquito brown ale, and Flan brown ale. Veza Sur Brewing Co. Veza Sur is drinking it forward by partnering with Sierra Nevada to brew its Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. One hundred percent of the sales will be donated to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund to help those impacted by the devastating California fire. Wynwood Brewing Company. Wynwood Brewing has released its annual barrel-aged Coqui-to imperial milk stout. With flavors and tastes of the beloved beverage, this beer is sure to put you in the spirit.
