Miami's got it going on this weekend. WMC has arrived, bringing some of the world's best DJ's and thousands of music lovers to our beaches (here's your guide).
If you're into something a little more relaxed, there's still plenty to do. Enjoy some hard-to-find beers, dine in a beautiful garden, or check out the world's largest hot dog. It's all this weekend and it's starting now.
Grab a Bite on the Beach
Whether you've got tickets to some DJ sets at Nikki Beach or are looking for a new kitchen at the Home Show, chances are you're going to spend some time on South Beach hungry. Don't fall prey to the siren song of the vixens on Lincoln Road who call out "Shrimps! Meats!" at some unknown bistro. Check out our list of the ten best restaurants in South Beach and make an informed dining decision.

Beer Swaps and a New Joint
Miami's beer scene is alive and well, thank you, and the epicenter of all that beer-related love is Wynwood. That makes perfect sense, when you factor in the cool, industrial vibe mixed with art. If you're a beer geek, this weekend, you'll think you've died and gone to beer heaven.
Be the first kid on your block to visit Kush, the new beer and burger joint by the owner of LoKal in Coconut Grove. With a soild menu that includes burgers made with local, antibiotic-free beef, gator, and bacon brownies and a carefully curated beer selection (there's a cooler filled with what owner Matt Kusher describes as a "beer lover's wet dream"), this might be your new hangout.
Then, check out the Sud Swap at Gramps. On Saturday. March 22, from 2 - 6 p.m., get in on an organized bottle trade, along with tastings. Best of all? You'll be able to meet fellow beer lovers and be part of the burgeoning beer community.

Meet a Giant Wiener
If you're the kind of person who thinks size does matter, you've gotta get over to the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition tonight, March 21, to check out the attempt to set a Guinness World record for largest hot dog.
From 5 - 8 p.m., Juicy's "Outlaw Grill" will try to make the largest commercial hot dog. This giant sausage, weighing in at 50 pounds, will need five pounds of mustard, five pounds of ketchup, eight pounds of relish, five pounds of onions, and an eight pound hot dog roll to dress it up. Once the dog is weighed and recorded, it will be cut up into individual serving sizes and will be sold to fairgoers for $1 each, with all proceeds benefiting the Miami Rescue Mission. A dog with a cause.
Dinner in Paradise
If you haven't experienced Dinner in Paradise, you've only got four more opportunities. Paradise Farms is up for sale and the amazing dinner series might never happen after this season. This Sunday, March 23 at 6 p.m., join Julie Frans (Essensia at the Palms Hotel & Spa); Giorgio Rapicavoli (Eating House); and Michael Reidt (Pilgrim) as they collectively prepare a multiple course feast using items from the farm. The evening includes welcome cocktails and a farm tour. Reserve by noon today by visiting paradisefarms.net. The dinner is $165.50 per person.
