This weekend is all about the champions. From watching the fastest 3-year-olds in professional sports compete against each other to observing two warriors battle in the ring, this is a weekend for celebrating excellence — be it in human or equine form.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will face each other on Saturday, May 2, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight card begins at 9 p.m, and Mayweather and Pacquiao are expected to enter the ring for the main event about 11:30 p.m.. The fight will be televised on pay-per-view through Showtime and HBO. Thompson Miami Beach's Côte de Rosé
Now that all that sporting excitement is over, it's time to relax on Sunday. No better place than the kickoff of Thompson Miami Beach's summer Sunday soiree series, Côte de Rosé. From 2 p.m. to sunset, the hotel's pool will transform into a rose garden. Sip fine rose and listen to deep house music by DJ ES. P and Niko Javan.
