When Rebecca Black made that horrific music video "Friday," the only thing the poor girl wanted to convey was that it was just freakin' Friday. There is no soul out there that doesn't rejoice after hearing the news that it's the last day of the work week, when a full 48 hours of relaxation are on deck. And since we live in the best city on earth (yeah, we said it, NYC, LA), we've plenty do to and keep us from a dull life of boredom.
Here now are Miami's best eats and drinks this weekend.

First, you've gotta check out the place we reviewed this week, because word has it "the fare is refreshing, delectable, and delightfully unfussy."
Thea Pizzeria and Cafe is a beautifully decorated cafe at the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park in Allapattah.
It's completely out of place, unassuming, but the menu is great and the people who work there are adamant on providing you a pleasant visit.
Grab a salad, split a charcuterie plate (don't forget to ask for extra cornichons), and split an artichoke pizza. You'll think you made it out of Kansas.
Thanks to Wynwood and its lovable hipsters, Second Saturday Artwalk is this weekend -- and you can expect the food trucks to come with it. Are you a Ms.Cheezious fan? Or maybe you prefer El Jefe's fish tacos. Or MAYBE, just MAYBE, you only follow the food trucks because you'll be damned if you don't get one of Fireman Derek's key lime pies. It's OK. We're not here to judge.
Hop and skip to your favorite galleries (we've got our favorites but can't ever, for the life of us, remember their names), take crazy pictures infront of artwork with your iPhone, and then hit up the round-up.
Miami. It just doesn't get any better. BUT WAIT. It does!
Sunday's got a double whammy this weekend so you'll have to choose wisely (though, in all honesty, it's a win-win for everyone).
Miami's favorite food guru Norman Van Aken is throwing on his Superchef cape this Sunday and hosting a kick-butt battle for the cure called Pleasures of the Palate. Hungry Miamians can sit at the uber-fancy La Gorce Country Club, nosh on Van Akens delectable bites, and all the while help raise awareness for diabetes. Expect an auction for exotic trips abroad and rare bottles of vino. Tickets cost $250 a pop, but keep in mind that includes wine, dinner, and a clean conscience.
But hey, not all of us are made of $250 -- and that's cool, too. Say hi to Buddy. He's the boss. As in the Cake Boss. Buddy Valastro, host of TLC's most lovable baking show, will be at The Fillmore in Miami Beach. Expect lots of audience participation, an intimate Q&A, and his usual New Jersey sass. Tickets for this Sunday evening soiree run from $38.50 - $87.50.
