Miami's Best Eats and Drinks This Week: Summer Specials at Lure Fishbar, FlyBarre at the Yard, and Dinner at PB Station

Start Monday with a visit to Miami Beach's Lure Fishbar. The seafood eatery recently launched a new happy-hour series, which runs Monday through Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. It also added a three-course prix fixe, priced at $55 per person, available through July.

FlyBarre will hosting happy hour at the Wynwood Yard Wednesday, and Thursday brings a variety of events, such as video jukebox at Segafredo Bayside, a summer kick-off party at the Gale Rooftop, a kitchen takeover at Novecento, and a guest chef dinner at PB station.

Monday 
Happy Hour and a Prix Fixe at Lure Fishbar
The Miami Beach seafood eatery will welcome summer with the launch of a new happy hour and a three-course prix fixe. Now through July 2016, diners can enjoy a menu featuring land- and sea-inspired plates crafted by executive chef John Iatrellis. Priced at $55 per person, the three-course meal includes salmon tartare with avocado ponzu and ají amarillo; a Lure house roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna; Lure’s award-winning bash-style burger; miso-glazed salmon with sugar snap peas, shiitake mushrooms, and sesame seeds; key lime pie; and peanut butter candy bars. Rotating cocktails will be available for $8 each, as well as light bites during happy hour Monday through Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information, call 305-695-4550 or visit lurefishbar.com.

Tuesday 

Beat the Clock at the Gang (3500 N. Miami Ave.)
From 5 to 7 p.m., the Midtown Miami eatery will host a beat-the-clock special. Every Monday through Thursday, all drinks on the happy-hour menu start at $5 and go up a dollar every hour on the hour. Discounted drinks include Bangkok mai tais, skinny girl cosmos, peach lychee martinsi, and select beers and wines. Pair drinks with eats such as Vietnamese pork rolls, Tibetan vegetable spring rolls, chicken dumplings, and green-tea crab rangoon from the $5 bar-bites section. 

Wednesday
 
FlyBarre and Fly Fam Hang at the Wynwood Yard
The Wynwood Yard's Mortar & Pistil will host a happy hour for a cause. The bar's weekly "bar takeover" gives nonprofits and local businesses a chance to use the bar to raise funds and awareness for charity in a fun and interactive way. FlyBarre will take over Mortar & Pistil this week with a complimentary FlyBarre class by instructor Ashli Katz, followed by happy hour at the bar with kombucha on tap, craft beer, and a FlyBarre cocktail special. Video Jukebox Party at Segafredo Bayside
Catch Segafredo's video jukebox party at its Bayside location beginning at 7 p.m. Customers will be able to choose from more than 5,000 music titles and request their favorite music videos to play on a large projection screen. Food and drinks will be available upon request, including pizzas, wraps, tapas, salads, coffee, and beer. 
Summer Kick-Off Party at the Gale Rooftop
Kick off summer during Memorial Day weekend at LDV Hospitality’s Gale Rooftop. From 6 to 9 p.m., guests can enjoy live music by DJ Troubles and unlimited ice-cold Schöfferhofer beer. Dolce Italian’s chef Paolo Dorigato will serve an array of appetizers. To reserve tickets, email [email protected].
Kitchen Takeover with Sebastian La Rocca at Novecento Brickell
Celebrate Novecento’s 25th anniversary at a kitchen-takeover dinner series with chef Sebastian La Rocca beginning at 8 p.m. The five-course menu, prepared by Chef La Rocca, was inspired by Argentine and Latin classics. Menu highlights include shrimp carpaccio, grilled veal sweetbreads, seared duck breast, and grilled sirloin. Tickets cost $100 per person and are available via eventbrite.com. Valet parking is $15.

Guest Chef Dinner at PB Station
Pubbelly's Jose Mendin and PB Station's executive chef Guillermo Concha will join forces with Barceloneta's Juliana Gonzalez to prepare a four-course menu, with each course including a dish from each chef. The special “Chef’s Choice” menu, priced at $75 per person, will be offered for one night only. The menu features a selection of small handcrafted dishes that fuse traditional American ingredients with Barceloneta’s Spanish-Mediterranean flavor.
