This Halloween offer comes a bit early, but today, October 28, all trick-or-treaters age 12 and under will receive a Scary Face Pancake anytime from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. -- although any parent who allows a child to eat a giant pancake with whipped cream and candy after 9 p.m. will be potentially subject to arrest. No purchase is necessary, but you'll be given the chance to donate to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, which helps kids in the Miami area. You can do this by purchasing a "pumpkin icon" for $1.
The pancake proffered is an oversized buttermilk flapjack with a whipped topping mouth, strawberry nose, and a side of mini Oreo cookies and candy corn. The latter two ingredients are what kids will use to complete "The Count Spatula design-your-own Scary Face Pancake." This is not to be confused with the IHOP "Funny Face Pancake," which will be offered until the end of the month via the Kids menu. Next month brings the IHOP "Indifferent Face Pancake," and after that comes December's special Christmas "Get Out Of My Face Face Pancake."
But, as we say, today is the day for the Scary Face Pancake.
