Craving an Ex-pat Cuban sandwich from Sparky's? Or maybe shroom buns from Gigi? What about a pan con minuta from La Camaronera? Thanks to Favor, which launched in Miami last Friday, you can get all of the aforementioned and just about anything else your heart and stomach desires (so long as the place you want something from falls within the parameters of the delivery map) brought to you in 45 minutes.

The mobile app launched Austin in January 2014 and is the brainchild of two former pizza delivery guys turned entrepreneurs — Zac Maurais and Ben Doherty — and in only a year has managed to expand to eight cities with Miami's launch. With other metropolitan locations on its roster like Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Houston, San Antonio, and soon to come Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis, bringing Favor to Miami was a no-brainer.

“Our move into the metropolitan Miami area was a natural one for Favor, as the city is growing with busy and on-the-go young professionals who have an appetite for quality, variety, and convenience — yet have minimal delivery options,” says Maurais. “We’re excited to bring on-demand delivery to Miami.”

So, how does Favor work? It's quite simple really. While their "personal assistants" will bring you anything you crave and need, food is really their specialty. But let's pretend you've got a VIP meeting/date and spilled coffee/vino on your blouse and need a change pronto; Favor has got your back, literally. They'll run to a shop of your store and get you a replacement.

If you're first world problem is a lot less intense, like say, you just really want pizza from Lucali to cure your hangover but can't physically go anywhere, or need groceries but don't want to put pants on and be a human, call in a Favor. Cuban from Versailles, tacos from Taquiza, pasta carbonara from Eating House, you name it, Favor delivers. While they've got a list of featured merchants, anything in the Miami Beach, Brickell, downtown, Coconut Grove, Little Havana, Coral Gables, Wynwood, and Design District is fair game.

And as far as pricing goes, cost for the items are the same as you'd pay at the place you're ordering from, but Favor tacks on a $6 delivery fee plus 5 percent of the cost of items ordered. Good news though: for the entire month of July the delivery fee has been lowered to just a buck. Simply use the promo code PLAYA.

Once you place your Favor, you'll be able to stay in touch with your assistant (who by the way wear super cute blue tuxedo t-shirts) via text in case there's any problem with your order and track the delivery every step of the way.

The only drawback is that Favor doesn't operate around the clock (hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. which are good enough). Oh, and they don’t deliver alcohol, for the time being anyway. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
