Dinner and a show doesn't always have to mean one of those cheesy murder mystery dinners, or that Arabian Nights thing up in Orlando where you can eat dinner while costumed men prance around on horses right in front of you. Luckily, a more low-key (and arguably, classier) form of table-side entertainment is coming to Miami this weekend.

Doma Polo Bistro in Downtown, which serves Argentinian fare, will be hosting performer Martin Russo -- who, fittingly, hails from Argentina -- as added entertainment to the usual Friday night dinner. Russo is known as "The Man of 1,000 Voices" (not to be confused with The Man of a Thousand Voices) for his ability to recreate more than 200 celebrity personalities.
"Guests who attend the show will be provided with a unique outdoor dinner experience accompanied by an international show suitable for the whole family," Doma Polo's owner Diego Verzino told Short Order. "We expect a festive atmosphere and are excited to offer diners a distinct alternative to dining out on a Friday night."
Russo is popular throughout Latin America and the United States for his musical performances, comedy, and impersonations of Frank Sinatra and Andrea Bocelli.
"As an impersonator of international performers, through his imitations, Martin humorously highlights the features of each of his characters," Verzino said.

Pretend you're vacationing on a cruise ship (Russo has performed on Royal Caribbean) while you dine on Doma Polo Bistro's Argentinian classics, like the entraña, a grilled skirt steak with Provençal fries and salsa criolla for $25, or mollejitas, sweetbreads with asparagus, peppers, and shallots, plus arugula salad over "pan de campo" toast for $16.
The event is free for guests dining at the restaurant. Dinner reservations are required, so call 305-400-0581. The show begins at 9 p.m., following happy hour (4 to 7 p.m.). Late-night happy hour begins at 11 p.m. and lasts until 1 a.m.
