Denny's in Kendall has gotten a facelift.

The Denny's, located at 12000 N. Kendall Drive, has been given a makeover to look more like a classic diner. To celebrate the new look and new menu, the restaurant is giving away free Grand Slams to the first 100 customers who line up today, Thursday, December 5 at 9 a.m.

Don't be judgmental about Denny's, peeps. We've seen all of you "foodies" there at 2 a.m. scarfing down eggs and coffee. Plus, if Hobbits can eat there, you know it's good.

So, get thee to Denny's early and if you're one of the first 100, you'll get a free Original Grand Slam (a $6.59 value), which includes two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs cooked to order, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

The celebration continues throughout the day, with a free Classic Burger and Fries given to the first 25 lunch guests to drop by the restaurant beginning at noon (a $7.79 value), and a free dinner entrée for the first 25 people to drop in at 6 p.m., valued between $8.99 - $16.69.

Hundreds of additional prizes will be given away during the day-long celebration in addition to the free meals, so if you're in the neighborhood, check out the remodel. Because any time is a good time for "second breakfast". Especially when it's free!
