The restaurant will feature locally sourced small plates inspired by Spanish-Mediterranean cuisine, artisanal cocktails, and a wine list with attractively priced options. It will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Deck 16 will be helmed by executive chef William Milian, who has worked at many of Miami's finest kitchens, including Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian and the Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS South Beach. Most recently, Milian was chef de cuisine at the Traymore at the Metropolitan by Como.
Chef Milian will also oversee the hotel's 24-hour knock 'n' grab room service menu and beach service for guests.
The Hyatt Centric South Beach, located at 1600 Collins Ave., is a ten-story glass tower designed by Kobi Karp that features 105 guest rooms and a lobby bar, in addition to Deck 16. The property is one of the first to open under the Hyatt Centric brand, which was launched in early 2015.
Deck 16 will be open for breakfast daily from 7 to 11:30 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and dinner from 5 to 11 p.m. The bar at Deck 16 will be open until 2 a.m. daily.
