Tony restaurant chain Cipriani and Mexican chain La Cantina No. 20 have leased space at Icon Brickell.

According to the South Florida Business Journal, the restaurants struck a deal with the building's owners after being on the market for nearly four years. The leased space encompasses three stories of the 50-story steel and glass building, which was designed by architecture firm Arquirectonica, and includes open-air spaces and access to the pedestrian walkway alongside Biscayne Bay.

Cipriani,

which already lists the Miami location on its website, is scheduled

to open Fall 2012. The iconic chain, which is best known for literary

hangout Harry's Bar in Venice, also owns restaurants and bars in New

York City, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Dubai, Istanbul, and Monte Carlo.

Cipriani, whose restaurants, bars, hotels, and clubs are known celebrity magnets, at one time planned to open a resort and

residences at 3201 Collins Avenue on Miami Beach, but the project

faltered and was taken over by Argentine hotelier Alan Faena.

La Cantina No. 20 is owned by a large chain of restaurants, with headquarters in Mexico.
