It's a girl! Bunnie Cakes owner Mariana Cortez gave birth over the weekend, adding little Stella to her and husband Sebas' lovely family.
Stella was due Valentine's Day (Bunnie Cakes' busiest holiday), but she waited until February 15 to make her arrival. Both mother and father are overjoyed about their new addition.

"We are over the moon," Cortez says. "We are in such a happy place right now. I am complete as a woman. Sebas and I are in complete happiness."
Stella weighed in at 8.5 pounds and measured 19 inches -- the biggest of Cortez's four children at birth.
Cortez worked until the last possible moment.
"I was working during Valentine's Day in the afternoon until almost 9 p.m.," Cortez says. "It is our busiest day of the year, so I stayed in the afternoon at the store to help decorate some cakes. My labor started at 3 a.m. while sleeping."
The baby was born at 11:59 a.m. February 15.
"Her name is Stella Elena, and she looks exactly like her dad," Cortez adds.
One of Cortez's other children, Luke, was actually the catalyst for Bunnie Cakes. At 18 months old, he was dealing with a speech delay, so Cortez began searching for diets that would help. She began baking gluten-free, casein-free cupcakes, and the rest is history!
Her devotion to her children is clear -- an entire wall at Bunnie Cakes is papered with notes to each of them. It looks like little Stella will soon earn her own spot. Let's hope the girl has a sweet tooth.
