Miami New Times and Zoo Miami are teaming together once more to bring you beer and music in close proximity to apes, tigers, and birds of prey -- at the third annual New Times Brew at the Zoo.

On Saturday, April 28 from 7 to 10 p.m (gates open at 6 p.m. for VIP ticket holders), brew, munchies and tunes will be available for your sampling enjoyment, along with live entertainment, delicious eats, and (our personal favorite) hot girls in leiderhosen (well, maybe a few if we're lucky).

More than 50 brews have been announced, with plenty more to come. Drink and eat while enjoying tunes from Alien Ant Farm, In keeping with our "zoo" theme, please allow us to list all the living thing-related beers available at Brew at the Zoo:

Famosa (logo is a rooster)
Buffalo Wild Wings
Zoo Brew

This year, Brew at the Zoo is pleased as ~~punch~~ beer to welcome Alien Ant Farm, along with the Spazmatics and the Bushmen.

General admission tickets for Brew at the Zoo are only $30 in advance, $40 at the door. VIP tickets, which includes an extra hour of beer tasting (starting at 6 p.m.), front row stage access all night, and food and drink at the VIP lounge, are $70 in advance. Like the guy in the Sham Wow! commercial says, "act now", because VIP tickets are damn well nearly sold out and general admission tickets are going fast.
